Breast Lift
The cumulative effects of pregnancy, nursing, weight loss and other factors can cause the skin of a woman’s breasts to lose much of their natural elasticity, causing the breasts to droop and sag. Breast lift surgery, or mastopexy, is performed to raise and reshape sagging breasts to a more youthful and attractive position. "Short scar" techniques are used by Dr. Philip Straka when possible. This procedure removes excess, lax skin from the breasts and raises the level of the nipples for a more youthful appearance of the breasts. Breast lift is often combined with a breast augmentation to produce fuller, rounder breasts as they are lifted.
